Lithos Market is a marketplace for collectors and dealers of natural specimens. We only collect the information needed to operate your account, your listings and your conversations. This page explains what we hold and how to manage it. It is maintained by the Lithos Market team during our closed beta.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address, an authentication identifier and any profile details you choose to add (display name, country, preferred currency, notification preferences).
If you list or buy specimens we additionally store listing data, message content with other users, favourites and dealer verification documents you upload.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: show you relevant listings, deliver messages, send transactional emails (sign-in, password reset, new-message alerts) and maintain a trustworthy dealer directory. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies & analytics
We use first-party cookies required for sign-in and remembering your session. During closed beta we may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data to improve the product.
Subprocessors
Authentication, database and file storage are provided by our hosting platform. Transactional email is delivered by a third-party provider. We can share the current list on request.
Your rights
You can edit your profile and notification preferences from the Account page at any time. To request a copy of your data or delete your account, email privacy@lithos.market and we will respond within 30 days.
