Trust infrastructure for the global mineral industry.
Lithos is the verified commercial network for the professional mineral trade. It helps businesses publish commercial intent, discover suitable counterparties and request permission-based introductions — while the relationships they already have stay entirely their own.
How Lithos builds trust.
Verified identities
Every named user is a real person with confirmed identity — never an anonymous handle.
Verified organisations
Businesses are checked against registries, domain evidence and industry references before joining.
Trading history
Reputation is earned over time through completed, well-conducted trades — not through popularity or promotion.
Reputation
Private trust signals accumulate quietly: communication quality, description accuracy, packaging, payment reliability, would-trade-again.
Governance
When disputes occur, Lithos stores voluntarily submitted evidence securely. Repeated substantiated complaints influence trust. Lithos does not determine legal ownership.
Commercial transparency
Tier, country, role and verification status are visible up front — so businesses know exactly who they are speaking with before they say a word.
Permission-based visibility
Existing relationships remain private. Identity is revealed only with your explicit permission through an introduction request.
Reputation earned, not position claimed.
Trust levels reflect the strength of an organisation's conduct and history on Lithos. They never imply access to a mine, an exporter or any counterparty. Higher levels receive priority visibility, greater recommendation weight and — at the highest levels — eligibility for governance participation.

Industry Steward
By invitation. Highly respected members of the trade who may participate in governance.
A trust steward, not an arbitrator.
When disputes occur between members, either party may voluntarily submit evidence — photographs, videos, shipping records, correspondence or documentation. Lithos stores this securely. Repeated, substantiated complaints influence an organisation's trust signals.
Lithos does not determine legal ownership, liability or fault. The Industry Steward programme — currently in design — will invite highly respected members of the trade to help review governance cases in future.
